Stop 01 · About Bonvia

The people behind every ride and route.

Bonvia is a Washington healthcare transportation company, rooted in the Southwest and serving the I-5 corridor. We move people who are counting on us, from a standing dialysis route to the trip that takes treatment far from home, and the materials that matter, like a lab specimen on the clock. The calm of a hospital partner, the warmth of the person who actually shows up at the door.

Stop 02 · Two names, one team

Two trusted names, now part of Bonvia.

WeCare Patient Transport was founded in 2018 with one vehicle and one phone, built from lived experience in patient transport. Today, Bonvia serves healthcare partners across Western Washington on the same premise: transportation built inside the healthcare industry, not adjacent to it.

Bonvia brings together two established service lines. WeCare Patient Transport runs non-emergency medical transportation for the patients hospitals, behavioral health teams, and families rely on. NW Courier Service moves clinical lab specimens on a sealed chain of custody. Both are now part of Bonvia.

When treatment takes someone far from home, we handle that ground travel too, with the same drivers and the same standard. One team, one number, for the whole healthcare journey.

What Our Partners Say

It is an honor to write this letter in support of WeCare Patient Transport. Northwest Indian Treatment Center is a residential addiction treatment facility and has been partnering with WeCare Patient Transport since October 1, 2018. During the past year, WeCare Patient Transport has been fiercely reliable and dependable. We have had the pleasure of working with most of their drivers who always treat our patients with dignity and respect. They go above and beyond what is normally expected from a NEMT service including: waiting with the patients during appointments and assuring all required documentation is taken into the appointment; going into the jail or detox facilities in representation of Northwest Indian Treatment Center and waiting sometimes hours for the patient’s release. They have been able to respond quickly to emergencies, and have reliably transported patients across the State of Washington, making all necessary connections. The communication they provide is impeccable, contacting us with regular updates during the transport with expected arrival time. Northwest Indian Treatment Center has found this NEMT service to be financially viable, costing less than employing a driver, and bringing more flexibility when we need patients to be transported in several directions on the same day. It is without hesitation that Northwest Indian Treatment Center highly recommends WeCare Patient Transport for any organization desiring a reliable, professional, prompt transportation service.

Stop 06 · Leadership

Led by the person who answers the phone.

Bonvia is led by David Martinez, its president. The company grew out of the two service lines he built on the Harbor and the South Sound: WeCare Patient Transport and NW Courier Service, now one team under the Bonvia name.

When hospitals and facility partners work with Bonvia, David is not a name on a letterhead: he is the person your team can reach, and the standard the drivers are held to is his.

Booked once, then simply handled.

One number for the standing route, the specimen pickup, and the treatment-travel ground leg, with the same familiar driver wherever we can.

A schedule you can trust.

Windows we build the day around, routes that don't drift, and a dispatch line that answers. Dependability is the whole product.
