Behavioral Health Transportation
Behavioral health transport asks more of a driver than a route and a schedule. A patient who is not yet stabilized needs calm, predictability, and someone who knows what to do when a trip gets hard. Every Bonvia driver is de-escalation trained. We work with behavioral health hospitals, treatment centers, and crisis programs across Western Washington for admissions, discharges, IOP and PHP appointments, and step-down placements. Discreet vehicles, unhurried timing, and a driver who has done this before.

Admissions transport
Planned intake trips to behavioral health hospitals and treatment centers, timed to the admitting window and driven at an unhurried pace.
Discharge and step-down
Rides home or on to the next placement when a stay ends, arranged with the care team and confirmed before the day arrives.
IOP and PHP appointments
Standing intensive-outpatient and partial-hospitalization routes with reserved times, so the schedule a program builds is the schedule that runs.
Crisis program transport
Scheduled transport arranged through crisis programs and their staff. This is a scheduled service, not an emergency response: call 911 for emergencies.
Court and county-arranged trips
Transport arranged by county programs and case managers, billed to the arranging agency and handled with the same discretion as every other trip.
Long-distance placements
Cross-corridor moves to a bed that is not local, planned as one whole trip with the return leg and the wait time settled in advance.
We have had the pleasure of working with most of their drivers who always treat our patients with dignity and respect. They go above and beyond what is normally expected from a NEMT service including: waiting with the patients during appointments and assuring all required documentation is taken into the appointment; going into the jail or detox facilities in representation of Northwest Indian Treatment Center and waiting sometimes hours for the patient’s release.
